Jennifer DeCubellis is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Hennepin Healthcare System (HHS)

Hennepin Healthcare is an integrated system of care that includes a nationally recognized Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, a 484- bed academic acute care hospital, as well as a clinic and specialty care system located in Minneapolis and across Hennepin County. Hennepin Healthcare includes a large psychiatric program, home care, hospice, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), operating a large fleet of ambulances serving 14 cities in Hennepin County. Hennepin Healthcare has two subsidiaries; Hennepin Research Institute (HHRI) and Hennepin Healthcare Foundation (HHF). Hennepin Healthcare System, Inc., is a subsidiary corporation of Hennepin County.

Prior to this role, Jennifer was the Deputy County Administrator for Hennepin County. Hennepin is Minnesota’s largest county and is home to over 1.2 million residents. Jennifer was responsible for Health and Human Service operations, which included over 4,000 employees and a budget of over $1 billion. Human Services includes income assistance, child and adult protection, chemical health and mental health services, services and supports for people with disabilities, veteran services, and children and family services. Health operations includes Hennepin Health (a safety net Accountable Care Organization), Public Health, NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center (a Federally Qualified Health Center), and the Medical Examiner’s Office. In addition, Jennifer oversaw business alignment with Hennepin Healthcare System.

Jennifer has a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Clinical Psychology and a bachelor’s degree in Special Education (emotional and behavioral disorders) from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Jennifer has more than 25 years in public program administration working across all areas of Health and Human Services with an emphasis on program redesign, system transformations, and quality improvements to ensure positive resident outcomes alongside prudent financial management.
